LearnWell Quality Standards

LearnWell identifies all its web-pages as coming from LearnWell Resources with its address, date of development or updating, and links to further information about LearnWell Resources. It answers all email and mail within 48 hours. It does not accept advertising for health products or health institutions. Course authors hold at least a Master's degree in a health field. The professional credentials or degrees of course authors are always listed. Courses are reviewed by the LearnWell Continuing Education Council that meets at least annually and are continually upgraded to meet LearnWell Quality Standards. Sites, policies and security standards are reviewed and updated at least annually. LearnWell makes no claims of therapeutic benefits without reasonable support. Linked self-assessment tools include information on the scientific basis for their operation and the date of the last update. Linked sites are chosen for their integrity and are for general information only. LearnWell does not guarantee the continuous accuracy of these links nor do they necessarily express the philosophy of LearnWell Resources. All websites provide for feedback and suggestions.

LearnWell Code of Ethics

LearnWell is dedicated to excellence in teaching health information and health behavior and promoting individual, family, organizational and community health. It respects the rights, dignity, confidentiality and worth of all people by adapting strategies and methods to meet the needs of diverse populations. It provides health information that is in the participant's best interest by not not allowing commercial interests to determine the content. It pledges to protect the privacy of individuals using its Web sites and to offer referenced, frequently updated, evidence-based health information.
