Vacancies at LearnWell Resources  

Needed qualifications for all vacancies:

  • dedication to the mission of LearnWell Resources. See www.learnwell.org/aboutus.htm

  • good record-keeping skills.

  • able to work from home on his/her own computer with Internet connection.

  • plan to fulfill this assignment for at least two years.

 1. Online Course Evaluators

  • Study and evaluate a LearnWell course a quarter (The evaluation consists of comments on usefulness, clarity, consistency, presentation of the course and the test.)

  • Report to edu@learnwell.org if the course is satisfactory or unsatisfactory

  • Recommend improvements of the course

2. Course Writers

  • Email edu@learnwell.org a short course proposal with clear name and objectives.

  • Use the course development guidelines linked here. Write a course a year.

  • Follow the pattern of LearnWell courses such as www.learnwell.org/laught.htm

  • Once the proposal is approved, develop the course and the 12 point test and email in the text.

  • LearnWell Resources pays on about January 20 the amount of $5.00 per student course enrollment for the previous year. That arrangement is limited to 3 years for a course. After that the course is considered out of date and needs to be revised or rewritten.

4. Online Marketers

  • Assist in the marketing of LearnWell once a month or quarter

  • Help improve the positions of LearnWell on the various search engines

  • Submit LearnWell courses to directories as per www.learnwell.org/market.htm

5.  Assistant Web-masters

  • Assist in online administration of LearnWell once a month or quarter

  • Assist in the development of online audio, video, wiki, and Power-Point for LearnWell courses

  • Develop and maintain web-pages

6. Financial Consultants

  • Assist in developing income streams at least once a year

  • Recommend investment strategies once a year

Applications for any of the above shall submit to the LearnWell Resources president 1) a short resume with address, phone number, email address and education, 2) evidence of previous relevant successful experience, and 3) a short plan that shows that the applicant can do the needed work. 

LearnWell participants and members of the LearnWell Board of Directors and Board of Consultants are invited to serve in one of the above six capacities. Most of the above positions are without pay, but in special cases pay may be arranged.
