Six Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation Review

Target
Population: Practicing health care professionals who have a basic
knowledge of cardiac physiology, cardiac rhythms, and rhythm measurements from
an EKG.
Objectives:
At the completion of the reviews, participants will:
1. identify cardiac rhythms,
2. understand the electrical etiology of the differing cardiac rhythms,
3. understand the causes of the differing cardiac rhythms,
4. understand the treatment of the differing cardiac rhythms.
Disclaimer:
This course is designer for the Continuing Education and increased rhythm
discrimination of practicing health care professionals. It does not replace the
certification required by various facilities for the treatment of cardiac
arrhythmias. It is designed only to increase the understanding of cardiac
rhythms, arrhythmias, treatment and nursing interventions of professional,
not for laypersons.
