Continuing Education Requirements by States Nurses: LearnWell Continuing Education Courses are approved for all states that require continuing education except AK, LA, NE, NH, NV, NY and UT. All states, with the exceptions listed, accept continuing education approved by a state board of another state, namely the California Board Registered Nursing (CEP 11430). The state requirements for nurses are: AL 24 hrs/every 2years, AK 30/1y, CA 30/2y, FL 25/2y, IA 45/3y, KS 30/2y, KY 30/2y, LA 5/1y, MA 15/2, MS 25/2y, MN 24/2y, NE 30/2y, NH 30/2y, NM 30/2y, NV 30/2, NY 4/2, OH 24/2y, TX 20/2, WV 30/2y, UT 30/2, WY 20/5y. Since state requirements change and sometimes require specific courses, check with your state board to make sure about state requirements. LearnWell is not responsible for Boards that may not accept specific continuing education courses. As far as we can tell, states not listed have no CE requirement. Social Workers, Counselors and MFTs: LearnWell Continuing Education Courses are approved by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (PCE 39) and thus by most states that require continuing education. For details, check the links to State Boards. LearnWell is not responsible for Boards that may not accept specific continuing education courses. Certified Alcohol and/or Drug Counselors in CA are required to obtain 60 hours/2y of continuing education toward renewal of certification. Teachers and Managers: LearnWell Resources follows the Standards for Professional Continuing Education and grants CEUs to teachers and managers.
Continuous Quality Control 1. All courses that are evaluated as poor or fair by students are revised within three weeks. 3. All student complaints are considered and the course is revised when needed within three weeks. |
